Owner does not return deposit

I met with two agents from the same real estate company (Dreamvest Realty Sdn Bhd), the agents are Yunice and Sandra, they are colleagues. I signed the tenancy agreement on 26 July 2022. The agreement is 1 year. I would only know at the end that supposedly, Yunice is the landlord's representative and Sandra is my (tenant) representative.

Around the end of 1 year tenancy, on 13 June 2023, the agent Sandra asked me if I wanted to renew the contract. I said no.

On 1 July 2023, I engaged agent Yunice to seek her help to find other units based on advertisements seen on rental platforms. She asked me if I was going to continue renting the current unit (renew contract)? I said no.

And then, on 25 July 2023, I moved out, and agent Yunice handled the inspection without the landlord's presence.

After I moved out, I WhatsApp the landlord and asked him when can he return the rental deposit? The landlord said he has no knowledge of me moving out, and said that I should give him 1-2 month notice before I terminate the agreement. I explained that I had informed the agent. But he then started ghosting, doesn't read WhatsApp messages, nor does he accept calls. I think he has blocked me.

I asked the landlord’s representative agent Yunice to advise the landlord on open talk and return the deposit. She said that she only represents the landlord and can’t do much. Furthermore, she says that I should have given 2 months notice before the agreement expired, it is Malaysia Tenancy Law regardless of what is written on the tenancy agreement.

In the tenancy agreement that I signed, there are no clause that states
“ Two (2) months notice must be given before the termination of the tenancy. ”

Instead it is written as
“ During the Two (2) months immediately preceding the termination of the tenancy unless the Tenant shall have given notice of his intention to renew the tenancy as hereinafter provided, to permit persons with the written a
